Interesting to note that today in Indiana four female high school softball players were injured when the field was struck by lightening. One girl is in critical condition still.
The sky was clear at the time by the report.

Nah. It was organised by the Division 1 Clique Conspiracy. The meeting minutes will be in a Wikileaks release soon.

Blackburn defeated Geelong 6-4 in 12 inns and wrap up series in 2 games.
Now straight to Grand Final starting Tuesday night at Altona.
Blackburn would now be unbackable favorites, regardless of who wins game 3 of the Melb Vs Ess series.

Will be a couple of cracking games in store today with teams going all out. Melbourne making a late comeback yesterday and Sunshine v Bonbeach having both games decided by 1-run this series.

Essendon 6 Melbourne 5 and Bonbeach 13 Sunshine 8.
Bonbeach jumped all over Rory Meddick, scoring three in both the first two innings and never looked out of control after that.
Not for the first time, it's Bonbeach and Sandringham...third time in I think seven seasons, for the Division Two pennant.
Well played to all Grand Final qualifying teams and comiserations to those teams whose seasons ended this weekend. Looking forward to a couple of magnificent Grand Finals series.

By crikey Wyatt 33 has gone very, very quiet. Cat must have his tongue. All those weeks of sooking it up about the Promotion / Relegation Rule has come to nought. The Muligrubs didn't even raise a whimper. They flogged the yank pitcher week in and week out and when it came to the big show he went AWOL. The Mulgrave bats had gone colder than a Ballarat winter. You whinged and whinged about how hard done by you guys were and at then end of the day (a) you guys blew the minor premiership in the last round and then you guys proceeded to go out in the semis in steight sets to finish fourth. I look forward to reading your enlightening comments on how hard done by you guys are.

Well done to all clubs who made it through to the finals.
The Division One and Two Semi-Final series would surely have to be among the closest and most hotly-contested that could have been hoped for.
Unfortunately but inevitably, there will always be winners and losers.
Congratulations and best wishes to those teams that were able to progress to Grand Final week. If the Semi-Finals were any guide, we might be in for some real excitement.
Division One and Two Grand Final Previews will be posted on BV by Monday evening.

I look forward to reading your enlightening comments on how hard done by you guys are. Wow indeed. Bigplums, I think you are more obsessed with Mulgrave than Wyatt!! 4 of your 8 posts have been about us! Now, as someone who was actually there for both games this week (as Im pretty sure you were not, happy to be told I'm wrong), it was pretty obvious that Sandy kicked up a gear for finals and we did not to the same degree... well done to them. We loaded bases and converted none in the first two innings yesterday, something you cant let happen in finals baseball, but hardly a Ballarat winter! Clutch situations will definitely be an aim for 2012/13! Anyway, for the future, I hope you show some 'bigplums' and add something positive to the forum discussions...something I'm still waiting to see from you. xoxo

Hey, come on you blokes.....
What's this stuff about a "Ballarat winter"?
It only rained three times up here in 2011.
Once for three months and twice for two months.... ;D

Still at team that is playing in a gf on the weekend that probably deserves promotion, but can't because of outdated rules. Anyway as earlier stated its footy season and unlike a few here o don't have my head up anyone else's a*** so I can see what's going on out there. As for the rebels, weren't good enough in two games. Still a good season, disappointing end. We'll be back next year, and well be stronger again. As for forum wankers(and there's plenty of you out there) you can kiss my fat hairy a***!

I'm really confused is there not going to be a SL Grand Final played this Saturday at Altona like we have had every other year?

So is it right that a team is going to divvy 1 next season and they didn't even make the gf?
