I hear Dandy have made a few changes after only 7 of their 93 strong playing list made it to Training Wednesday. Rumor has it one disgruntled youngster has already requested a clearance to Knox.

Puma, I'd suggest not slinging mud at teams in a grade. It does nil for your credibility mate

Interesting??? So just cause I haven't posted for awhile that means the next thing I post has to be positive??? My response is due to a comment I thought was ridiculous and quite average to the dande baseball club!! IMO cashy has done an excellent job for the dande club and I like a lot of guys down there! Comments like Pumas above are crap and un-called for! No means no??? What are u talking about??
I ain't the one with tag at the bottom of my page with the direct insult!!! If you throw darts - be prepared to learn how to catch them I say!!!

Don't agree often with what you write rhricho, but i agree with this one! Pumas always has something to say about everything, whether or not he is right is always the question. Cashy has done a great job down there and deserves a lot of credit. The whole club does.

It irks me when comment is made about clubs in which people work their tails off to succeed in. If puma had an ounce of humility and was able to focus properly, perhaps pakenham would have 93 players. Instead he is determined to cann other clubs.
I would suggest in inclement weather most clubs would have a downturn in attendance, really it's a non story.

I like the part on clearance forms where clubs accept new players.
From a research perspective, it would be interesting to see which clubs take this sort stuff on board before accepting players.

Although puma isn't a member of the dandy baseball club, he does have a few sources down there, and I'm thinking that he'd probably be close to the thruth. I'm not a member either, so I won't comment on the issue, because I don't know, but if he's talking about dandy, I'd tend to believe him. On another point, how good are the dugouts at dandy! I reckon theyre friggin awesome, especially the roof framing!

Hey barb, that's quite a classy retort! This is a fan forum not a league or club sanctioned website, and it's open to all sorts of threads comments and opinions. If puma wants to come on and post about another club, why can't he? It's not a big love in, with everyone sitting around a camp fore singing Kumbyah! Whether you agree with him, is up to you. If you disagree then even better, but some on here have a predetermined opinion about what he has too say. If you don't like it, talk about the topic, not the bloke! I'll state here and now, he is an old team mate of mine, and we have similar opinions on some things, but we certainly don't see eye to eye on every topic.....except our contempt for rhricho....that's a given! Ps if you'd like to comment on the dugouts at dandy then that's also been put on the agenda! They're awesome....especially the frame for the roof!

Hey Wyatt, when was the last time your club told you to shut-up? And Puma, Wiki says; Hypocrisy is the state of pretending to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that one does not actually have. Hypocrisy involves the deception of others, often maliciously or callously, or of oneself, often because of desires or needs to cling to various forms of comforting delusions which further exposure to truth would diminish or eradicate. Peez n carrots, the forum would be boring without you two.

Why's that barb? Where in the last couple if posts have I said anything to do with mulgrave or wheelers hill? Let's discuss the topic at hand. Puma raised an issue that occured at dandy the other night. Is that correct? It is. As is the want of some people that regularly comment on this forum, he was accused of trying to stir the pot, or having a crack at a club not his own. My point to those, was shy can't he say that? I stated that, and you come on here swearing and assuming were in cahoots! Were not, but I think it is a little unfair to to constantly berate the guy for having a different opinion to, what appears, the majority of folk that post regularly. How fun would the forum be if, as is the case a lot of the time, everyone happily got along and constantly kissed each others a***! As another member of the forum who constantly has a differing opinion to the majority. It does make what we say wrong, just different, but because you don't tend to agree, you feel the need totry and belittle or personally denegrade us. That's okay that happening. It means that I've achieved what I set out to do. Puma the same! If you can't cone up with an articulate response to a post, you just sling nuts! It doesn't stick, thicker skin than that here! As an aside, I'd like to mention that after some investigation, what puma said, is actually 100% correct. There were some issues at the angels, as he mentioned. You know what else....they dealt with those issues, and came out on sat, had a big ceremony opening the dugouts(did i mention the framing?) and proceeded to win all a grade games that were played there! So is it such a big deal what was said? I don't think so. I'm tired of this, but I'll wait with baited breath to read your incisive and witty response!

I used the new dugouts as the visiting team on the weekend, very nice. The helmet box is a great touch, well done Puma ... or whoever did them.
wyatt - I didn't really check the framing, but I'm sure it's good too!

Also this was written by DDD in his match report of the weekend - special significance as one of the dugouts is named after his Dad .....
It was a big day at Dandenong with the official opening of their new dugouts (very impressive and comfy sunken dugouts they are too), named after a couple of 'Club Legends' in Don Poole and George Dicker. Councillors, Officials and Life Members were on the field with the players pre-game to unveil the dugout signs on a pleasant day to set up the battle for the GD Cup, which Dandy won as they completed the club sweep for the day. Congrats to them as they continue to improve their facility and club image. Happy Birthday to Spice all day, slow hand claps and several renditions of 'Angel Land' reminded us of where we were.

Great to see Robbo getting the gig for the DBA again this year. Be good to see a few more players throwing their hats in the ring this year to help the DBA make it back to back. Just remember tho, all players attending tryouts must own a tent.

Just finished reading the match report from Pakenham in regards their B3 team. Good to read that the shortstop who copped a ball from an n errant throw to the side of the face, ending his game in the top of the first, has sustained no breaks or fractures.
I know the Berwick lads will be glad to hear the news tonight, and we all hope for his, PPBC's and baseball's sake that he is back on the field as soon as possible.
