Apologies if some people think I'm baiting them... I know absolutely nothing about the incident or who may or may not be involved. But I reckon this "forum" may have gone a bit downhill since people started biting their tongues because big brother may be watching (💀). I will voice my opinion on a public forum if I want to, but you don't have to read it if you don't like. We both reserve that right.
Bottom line, some coaches deserve to be called funny names, and sometimes players will call them funny names even though they probably shouldn't. At the end of the day it's a coaches role to get the best out of a player for the team's benefit. Both players and coaches need to keep that front of mind*, sometimes people won't agree*, if you don't like that, walk away*
However, if someone breaks the rules along the way. Different story!🔨
Note: *it's called management.

I feel sorry for the kid involved. Rumour has it, he has/d latent talent from an early age, great support from people that have seen that talent and the potential and made allowances for teenage ego. Maximum parental support etc. What has gone wrong? I hope this is a pivotal time in this kids life and he chooses to learn how to be a team player, not just in the game of baseball but also the game of life.

An old coach once said that talent will cover a lot of makeup issues but for only so long, possibly reached that point, kid should have woken up a while ago

Don't know if calling your coach a 'little runt' is grounds for being sent home. Pulling a knife on your coach however... How bad must Adelaide airport security be?

I hear that only three div 2 clubs meet the critera for div1 next year and two div 1 clubs don't. Going to be interesting to see what happens.

who are the div one clubs that they are talking about!! as for any club wanting to move up goes, they need to be running the critera this season. meaning 4 senoir teams and 6 junior teams this season.

Tome for a rethink of the criteria, if 1st div clubs are struggling to meet them, surely! I mean, st kilda have 8 senior teams, yet they are deemed not up too playing first div, because of junior participation. Seriously, I'm sure every club does whatever they can to get juniors, bit some clubs are, for whatever reason, unable to attract the required numbers to participate at div one level. If a club has four senior sides, plays of for a premiership, they should be given the opportunity to play up a div! I thought there were rules as well about entirely enclosed fields to be in first div. One of the reasons mulgrave relocated! So how come these rules aren't enforced the same as the junior criteria? It's a pretty narrow minded stance by the league, to penalize clubs like this.

Can't find the rule that says that a club is ineligable for Div 1 if their field is not enclosed.

Once again baseball gets shafted after years and years of promises from council. I'm sure local rate payers are happy with the $100,000++ wasted on feasibility studies, plans, meetings etc etc.

I believe this rumour to be true. Hopefully the local council pull their fingers out and build the new rooms by next season. I kind of like the look of our temporary shed though, looks pretty cosy. Willo will be rapt it has a window. I've got dibs on the back corner out of the draft. Jonesy and Spice can snuggle up under the window.

No Lando. The dba is clearly the beer league. The bush league has always been the other winter league. You look better with your mask on. You should wear it more often
