Well it's now common knowledge who has said this and people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!!!!! Kc for many years as the coach of werribee in the winter have loved looking up the site on a Monday to read all the reports except for the time u stated I kept Lara off balance with my "off speed offerings" they were my bloody fastballs lol but this sort of thing is typical instead of taking a leaf out of kev or simones books and being pro active about woman's baseball just slag somebody off it's much easier this is a sad day hopefully something good can come of this rubbish

Whoswingsit, I have umpired a Divvy 1 womens game and i can tell you,it was more exciting than some of the divvy 2 mens games going around. They run hard, play hard, the way baseball should be. Maybe some more men should make an effort to watch them,or just support the women's teams from their respective clubs. You never know, some guys might just learn the difference between making up numbers on a team & having a redhot crack!

Cameron, I haven't carked it.......there's still a bit of breath left in the old bloke. Though when you talk about a "former life" it all starts to get a little spooky.....

Kingsley, It sounds like you have found some peace with the matter, good for you. The thread was purely to show we don't take your work for granted. It benefits us Masters players anyhow mate, because now you can spend more time making The Victorian Masters in Ballarat better than ever! Moving on, I have heard a from a very good source that there will be two Sydney teams this year..

I've never had anything to do with KC, but regardless of the individual its a terrible scenario when we have such a giving person forced to take this road.
Baseball doesn't need this.

to go a little further ETC, it is very strange that the big fella, Hightower, who is involved in the sheilas game and the old fella, burgers, have not been on here to put their opinions forward, I think it means there may be a bit of damage control being done at the Dragons lair.....in any event i would think these great contributors to this forum will speak up in the not too distant future, guys the silence is deafening..........

Yep Oldracer.... there are some real good people at Donny and it would be great for the club to show some character and address this publicly given that is where someone decided to start all this. I respect the fact that the club has the right to handle this as it sees fit and may have asked members to not comment herein !

In view of overwhelming support for the website reporting service that Baseball Victoria seeks to provide – I have agreed to BV’s request to continue in the role until the end of the summer season.
I repeat here what I have been saying for the past three years. If you have a story idea, some baseball news, a suggestion or a criticism, please contact me personally. All timely and relevant input is much appreciated.
No further comment on this sorry saga is appropriate or necessary.
Let us all just get on with what we do.

Yeah good outcome but nothing to celebrate in terms of the process that preceeded it.

i thought chardy was going to be the first one to write that whoswingsit, haha. I don't get on here as often as I should anymore so I have missed all of this. I have only known KC for a short amount of time but that doesn't mean that I don't think the guy is a dead-set champion. If womens baseball wants to complain about what he does and doesn't do then perhaps they need to stop complaining so much about what they don't get and start doing something themselves?? We all know how easy it is to sit there and complain but how about going out there and doing something for themselves?? (am I repeating myself? Well most women complain we don't listen soooooo RIGHT BACK AT YOU!!) Most people know my view on womens baseball - if it wants to be recognised then perhaps start being a little more self-sufficient?? And to the person (I have no idea who it is) bagging the great man via "social media" - GROW A PAIR. Kind Regards - Cam Hardy.

Don't brand all of women's baseball with this. It doesn't need to be tarred with this brush.

having been a baseball fan for a few years now, i decided to follow moorabin as my local team.maybe i m not up to date with the league, but i would have thought with the talent at their disposal they would be better than 3 and 13.am i being a bit optimistic or is there a possible problem with their coach?is the club well managed in that regard? anyones thoughts?

Welcome aboard JCL.
When any club seems to be performing below expectations, there will inevitably be questions asked about players, coaches and club administration. Rightly so.
There will always be a combination of factors that facilitate success and may account for perceived lack of success. The club you mention, like all others, will assess its position when and as it sees fit - quite probably at the end of the season.
In the meantime, there are plenty of games and hopefully good times still to come. Keep the faith.

I've only been involved for a couple of years but I can't seem to understand how the BV offices close down this time of year. At baseball's busiest time of the year with junior nationals just around the corner and the national comp in full swing, I can't understand this. Sorry to be a "red head" but can anyone please explain?

So in this day and age of everything 24/7 and the busiest time for baseball all year and christmas only one day? Don't get me wrong I am a fan of christmas but don't you think this time of year needs all hands on deck??

No I don't. Myself and my club sure as heck don't 'need' anything from BV right now. While BV does have a vested interest in the Aces ongoing success, they are separate entities, they dont handle the day-to-day of the Aces. The state teams are selected and locked in, what do they need that must be handled through the administrative hub that is the BV office? Surely the respective EO's have a handle on things. Not to mention, BV staff are contactable, they have provided their personal contacts in the event of urgent matters. In my opinion, your expectations are beyond reason.

i'll have a chat Barber!
It sounds like Narcissism at its best!! Even if your coach is wrong - dont ever show him up or the rest of your team! especially as a junior! prob got in the car demanded his portable P/S and a special burger without the pickle from Macca's through drive through!
But what would I know being so dumb!!! haha!!
