Once again one of the closest Divy 2 clubs to the Stadium only plays 1 mid week game their, it happens every year maybe some clubs get looked after better than others? The people producing the draw should look at this to make it easier on clubs such as Mulgrave 3 mid week game and OGH 4 mid week games. Port Melbourne have 3 mid week games all them home games how does that work.

Round 8 - Sandringham vs Ormond/Glenhuntly @ Cheltenham Outer.
Why on earth wouldn't you schedule Sandringham @ Ormond/Glenhuntly? I understand the golf is around that time and the club loses the ground for a period, but schedule the 1s and 2s at EE Gunn Reserve and the 3s and 4s at Cheltenham Outer.

Gee, i dunno. How about say, division 3. If Rick Collins comes across no ones fifths will get anywhere near him. If you have a close look at Div 3 you will see that it comprises every Div 2 club that has a fourth team. We requested Div 3 & 4, but they have decided to name Div 2 4ths Div 3.

Any chance of Saturday baseball in the future? Surely they realise this is the main reason so many kids drop out during there teens... Nothing worse than backing up a Saturday night with standing in the outfield for 4 hours.

I was just wondering are we going to be replaying games this year or is it going to be the same as last year? Every club should play 33 games this season.

Has any club that registered for Aussie TBall received their kit bags yet?

The two rule changes happened in different seasons barb? 33 games was 2009, no replays was 2010.

I hear Sam Beasley and Adam Silva were cleared from Berwick today. If true that would mean in the last 6 weeks they have lost the 1st, 2nds and 3rds coaches, the u18s coach, the vice president, the junior development officer and arguably the 3 best young kids they have.
They could probably use the DeLorean about now.

Spare a thought for the shmuck preparing a Season Preview for BV on the basis of what we seem to know (or don't know) about developments at various clubs. Still, we can always be inventive.......

You might think the first game was important enough to be included in the events calendar on the face page of the website......

Correct Wyatt. Being a Brisbane Lions supporter and going to all 4 Grand Finals those round one contests the next day were very hard to be a part of physically.

I remember playing a game the year the Storm won their first flag and getting score updates given to us throught the game. I think there were more people in the pavilion than there were watching our game

I remember, being a dogs supporter, that I was dirty in 98, so I spent the day down at mully readying the ground for first game, the next day. Probably the last time I never really watch the grand final. (not counting last years replay)
