There's a couple of questions there. Given I'm not in the majority with some of my values and beliefs about the Aces, I will probably offend someone, somewhere so will leave that for others to answer.

Here's hoping for four wins this weekend.
(I will be sitting with a former Perth staffer this weekend - after four titles I have heard about, a few wins would be a nice comeback!!)

Aces just blanked Perth Heat in game 3 at Melbourne Ball Park. 14-0. The win guarantees a split series and sets up the Aces for a home series win tomorrow (Monday) at 11a.m.

Think the boys need to have a look at themselves and ask is this the type of antics that a team 8 games under 500 should be doing. If youre sitting on top of the ladder then sure joke away, but when your bullpen is full of double digit era's best to keep yourself quiet and focus on your job at hand and thats win a game.

A tweet earlier in the week noted "Scouts running the game".
Anyone got any further information regards this?

Agree with you totally, johne!
Of course sport can (always) and should (usually) be fun. But I have serious reservations about either the club or the league touting this as some sort of headline story.
"Epic anthem standoff"?
Cringeworthy.

Excellent victory by the Aces last night and an outstanding performance by Matt Larkins. The first complete game shutout in Aces history.
One thing for the sponsors who provide the fireworks. They are spectacular and most enjoyable, however can we wait a couple of minutes for them to go off? Would have been nice to see the players celebrate and hear a short interview from Larkins. As it is, nearly half the home wins have seen the final pitch thrown and the ground go into darkness. Can we just have a couple of minutes, please?

Watched the All Star game last night on ESPN which was good, but I notice that there is nothing in the Herald-Sun, not sure about any other paper. Very poor publicity. Noticed that therewas nothing in the papers about the lead up either.
