There are some confirmed coaching/playing announcements with Hubes to North Balwyn and Bubbie to Essendon...what about the rumors as let's face it - this is where the fun begins.
Firstly - Is Westgarth CONFIRMED to A Grade MWBL and Melb Uni to B Grade? I understand a request needs to be submitted and accepted.
Is Monty to have A & B Grade confirmed? (sorry I haven't attended the delegates meetings).
I'll start the rumors - Kevin Reece to Monty???

Nice one Farnt, If Monty comes up who goes down and do they go to C grade.
Essendon has a second side this year so what is going to happen to DC as they were playing as there reserves in B Res.
Are there any clubs that have been playing D grade or lower looking to advance eg. Upway FTG??

Rumour has it .... Bundoora has 2 club coaches or perhaps the 2012 coach hasn't been told he has been replaced by Adam Lawson.

Authentic, i believe Batesy was head coach at the Brumbies! As far as i know, and i don't know much, Batsey still believes he is coach!!!!!!

If it is true that Monty have teams in B grade would Bundoora end up in C Grade?
Does Bubbie playing for Essendon make them a contender?

Id say yes CW Bubbie in as much as he helps them in both dimensions of the game and you'd figure that with half decent defence he'd restrict teams to low scores that gives them a chance to win each week. Interesting point re GMBC - lets hope whatever they do there isnt a Bye - Bye's suck - partic in B Grade !

If Bubbie plays for Essendon (rather than just coaching), then that makes them near-certain GF winners. Look around at the rest of B-grade - there aint anybody who can touch him.

St Kilda aiming to play C an C Res in the 2013 season. Could work out well for the comp and the club.

I think you underestimate hitters from Waverley and Forrest Hill. And Essendon will still have to score runs, something they only did 37 times in 2012. I do agree that they are a FAR better team with Bubbie on board and if he throws week in week out they will finish near the top of the league, but I'm not convinced they'll be "near certain GF winners".

Is that the same Mike Slape when playing for Oakleigh was slapped with a almost lifetime ban from Winter baseball by the DBA or until he finally fronts the tribunal some 10 or so years ago?

A great rumour I've also heard is that the DBA has gone from having 6 teams for the premier mens A1 Grade a cuppla years ago to 8 teams for season 2013. If true it's wonderful news for a league that has been struggling for viability for some years now. If true, then it can only be attributed to an enormous effort by some far-sighted passionate and dedicated people.
