As per the Women’s Competition Memo sent to clubs on the 5th September 2011 the Divisions will
be made up as follows:
· Division 1: Six (6) teams, to be made up of teams that finished in the top two ladder
positions of Pool A, B and C.
· Division 2: Eight (8) teams, selected on the qualifying ladder results from all three Pools.
· Division 3: Eight (8) teams, the remaining teams from Pool A, B, C to join Pool D.
· The Summer League Committee will have the final determination on team placements in
Divisions. These placements will be at the discretion of the Summer League Committee.

*NOTE - The Summer League Committee reviewed the Pool C game between Moorabbin and
Springvale B, in which Moorabbin, despite scoring more runs, was adjudged to have fielded an illegal
player, thus losing the game. It was therefore considered that Moorabbin and Springvale B be
ranked should the score have counted, thus resulting in these teams swapping their ranking position
for allocation into Division 2 and 3.
The Regular Season will start on Saturday 12th November 2011 with 14 scheduled rounds plus Playoffs.
Clubs have agreed there will be no women’s games played on the 28th January 2012.
The Division 1 Women’s ladder during the Regular Season will be determined by the points system
with Division 2 and 3 ladders being determined by win percentage. As in previous seasons, Women’s
Division 1 games will be replayed where games have not reached a legal game status due to heat or
rain.
Results from the qualifying period will not carry over into the regular season.
