Its with a heavy heart that the news is in from Bali, that Steve Rossell, alias Perfeckt, has passed away at the age of 59. For those that have followed The Forum, he spoke passionately about the game of Baseball, on the field, and off it, in his 1300 plus posts. He gave opinions when they were sort, and criticisms when they were deserved. He never shirked any issues, his wit and willingness to get involved in solving issues, is a legacy he leaves behind for all to carry on his good work. As a professional cameraman with leading television networks, he sought to add his touch to the public at Baseball Broadcasts, with his knowledge and understanding of the game. A passionate family man, his thoughts were always about his children being good citizens. His loyalty to the Cheltenham Club, socially and financially, has been outstanding. Steve had the knack to be politically correct in his comments, and used the chosen moment to pass on the fairness of a discussion.
Today, we acknowledge a true "Hall Of Famer" of The Forum, you will be sadly missed.
Cheers, Our dear Friend........The Bintangs are on us.

Without knowing the details of Steve's passing, this news is a monumental shock for the Victorian baseball community - including all of those who have enjoyed his banter, his intellect, his unique insights and his engagement - as perfeckt - in Forum matters over the years.
Aside from his considerable and acknowledged professional skills consistently displayed in a lifetime of media work, Steve was a lovely, caring bloke of generous and expansive nature who it was impossible not to like.
Rest in peace indeed, perfeckt! You were a ripper human being.
Condolences and best wishes to Steve's family, friends and associates.

Very sad to hear of the passing of perfeckt, a great supporter of the Radio Show and Baseball in general. The forum will not be the same with his comments. Condolences to his immediate family.
