Sorry soap, my bad, forgot to add that. Have a great weekend with the Darl, at whatever it is your going to get up to. Personally, a grand final is more important the a weekend on the 'job' at some b&b in daylesford! And pep, if your listening, your as week as piss too! Fair dinkum mate! Must have missed you there last night... Surely a grandfinal is "more important" then the family time/work time that you had going. I know a bloke who missed his brothers wedding (was meant to be Best Man too) to play in a Grand Final.....

:fishing: I it find interesting that BV has tried to give as much exposure as possible to the Aces throughout their season but when it comes Finals time the Aces havent done anything for BV. The Adelaide Bite for example have listed their players playing for their club teams during the finals which is great. The only reason I can think of is that all the interns went back to the states? Bobby, the Aces management couldn't care less about what happens in club land, except when it comes to pirating imports that the clubs have shelled out for onto their roster. Windsor Knox was on SEN before season started and a caller to the station asked about the likelihood of a couple of guys getting on the roster and from his response he clearly had no idea who they were. Coupled with Phil Dale, quoted on the record, that good quality club level players are not up to competing at ABL level, why could we have any expectation that the Aces management would care about finals series?

Interesting that the Aces wished Ryan Hoffman from Melb Storm good luck in his 200th game tonight in twitter.

It is fairly obvious that just reading the last post by regg44, that Phil D must have forgotten that over half his roster was good quality club players. One would assume that young Ryan D fits into that categoryas well. The final series is showcasing some of the best baseballers in Victoria. Perhaps the Aces management could take a good look over the weekend and just see how a winning culture is created. I am not fussed as to who wins but the fact that the two best equipped baseball sides in the league are able to showcase their good quality club level players is brilliant. Maybe this is the difference between other ABL teams and the Aces, the other ABL teams give a d**n.

I hope I don't offend anyone, but colac on Wednesday night wasn't where I wanted to be! If the game had of been at altona a would have made the commute, alas Latrobe in 40 mins would have been a tough ask. I'll be there today in my leafs top to honor our tough Toronto native on the hill, and will be cheering on the boys....you know that!

I'm a new member & confused just read an article in the Willy local "rag" in which a "well respected" willy interviewee stated that the collision at home was fair and the runner was set upon by 2 Fitzroy players ? As an independent spectator I'm confused was the interviewee at the same game maybe the interviewee was confused maybe running 3 steps off the line and spear tackling the catcher was fair contact back when he was a player

Why would you run 3 steps off the line to hit the catcher? Surely if the catcher was that far off the line with the ball you would slide around him.
