Already expressed my views on this to you on Twitter Glen, but I have a feeling that it will appear on MLB Network before MiLB.tv
Also, MiLB.tv has released a notice of all the MiLB teams involved, all AAA, most AA and some other levels as well. I have 2 questions emailed to them waiting for a response - 1. How much is it considering I am getting MLB.tv premium package, and are the games archived or do we have to watch them live? Not sure if you can assist...

G'day klattsy, I too have 'premium membership' with MLB TV which includes MiLB TV. I doubt that we could get the variety of international league TV coverage that would encompass Oz in that deal but I wouldn't think that it would be more than a $tenna add-on. I'd certainly pay that extra. Stand alone Oz TV (online) coverage at a standard acceptable to MLB TV (IMO) would probably not come in at under Aus.$100 per season. Then we could have reason to whinge about the quality of the broadcasts. At the moment we actually need to be thankful that any club is allowed to broadcast games as they see fit, or not and at whatever level of professional broadcasting they can muster.

perfeckt, does our premium package already include MiLB? I though it was extra on top of premium? Also, is there archived games to watch or only live broadcasts? In regards to ABL, I would pay the extra $20-$50 and would not expect it included. I would expect the standard to improve to Perth/Canberra levels across the board. I'm sure the sponsors could keep the price reasonable and make profit. It has been said the Canberra coverage is done for $1000 in capital. This is 20 subscriptions @ $50. Perth, Syd, Can already have capital, Bris & Adl well on their way. Add to this sponsors (i.e. league has an "official online broadcast sponsor" who has permanent adds all over the place and then say the league has 2-3 Australian wide sponsors and each club has 1-2 local sponsors) revenue and it should most definitely meet costs. I totally agree with your last statement. Extremely happy to be watching ANY type of coverage online, and ALL participating teams do an outstanding job. Its like I tell my wife, I like ALL your food, just some I LOVE and some i love. Please keep in mind that these views are coming from someone who cannot get to more than 1-2 games per series and would like an option to watch at home. The league must be focused on getting paying people through the gates (and returning) more than anything. I just think this could be side project and I don't believe it will have a negative effect on gate numbers. If that was the case, games could be delayed by 1 hour. Our maybe local blackouts in place? Easy sorted while also providing a service to interstate/overseas (wider revenue base) subscribers.
