The Essendon Baseball Club annual ladies day. In recognition of all the work and the importance women have in building our clubs and keeping them operating EBC is going to treat all women to a special day at the ball park. All the work will be done for you as you are pampered and get to enjoy a glass or two of champagne while watching the boys run around the park.
The day is sure to be a great one with a cracking game between two of the state’s top teams, food and drinks provided for the girls and all money raised going to charity.
So come on down enjoy the day and support a great cause.
All monies raised will go directly to the Warwick foundation. The Warwick Foundation is partly run by club life member Andrew Lehmann and Wife Sam.
(Orange is the charities colours as Pink is to Breast Cancer ect..)
We will be playing in ORANGE socks, T-shirts and Sweat Bands and we will Donate PINK Sweat Bands to opponents on the day, Blackburn.
During the game we will auction items to raise further funds for the charity.
It is our intent to auction off an item between each innings.
Whilst we are still arranging auction items below are just a few of those that will be auctioned on the day. The list will be updated as the date gets nearer.
About THE WARWICK FOUNDATION
The Warwick Foundation is the first and largest charitable organisation in Australia focused on supporting young adults (18-40 years) on their cancer journey.
The reality is young adults are the fastest growing demographic among the over 10 million new cancer diagnoses each year worldwide.
In fact, cancer is the leading disease related killer of young adults.
While there are hundreds of cancer-related organisations in existence today, there are almost none that are strictly focused on meeting the unique needs and issues faced by young adults on their cancer journey.
