Seeing the evergreen Marshall Skinner and Rob Hogan still holding there own for Preston and Springvale alike got me thinking are there any other ex ABL Mark One 'legends' still playing for their club's first side? (Sticks, Ben Smith, Blewjas and Burton a lot younger than the above). There are plenty on a Monday night playing Masters and a few hiding in other club teams besides their firsts, but any/many more than these?

Cameron Forbes, Russell Spear, John Edwards (prior to suspension) and Sandy's Dan McGrath would be others from the old ABL still playing Division One.
Simon Pole (Malvern), Earl Byrne with Werribee in Divvy Two? Dean Marnell (Williamstown)?
Ben Hammer still playing in Lara's A Grade side in GBA winter.

Myles Barnden, Rob Hogan and Michael Crooks are all at Springvale, Adam Burton and Tim O'Meara at Malvern, Michael Herman has played twos at Sandy this year, Paul Weichard is still making his way back from injury but is at Cheltenham along with Matthew Gourlay and Greg Wiltshire is at Essendon.
All I recall played for the Waverley Reds/Melbourne Reds.

No I dont profess to be a first's player anymore..still have thrown in the Deamons seconds a few times this year..great thread..Burto at the bandits. Remember it very well.
