This thread is for those who are looking for a particular service.
If someone is looking for a gardener, accountant, computer nerd etc. they could post a message here and those with that particular skill set could reply. I myself would rather help someone from baseball that just getting a random person from the yellow pages.

Great minds Bobby - I thought about this very thing. Perhaps even better might be a link on the BV webpage to a list of baseballers with a particular skill available.
Next year I will be looking for a painter to paint an extension on our house.

barb, tommy ellis and kane davidson from chelt are apprentice plummers and pretty good at it too from my understanding... theyd prob give you a pretty good price on a cash in hand job sort of thing if thats up your ally... let me know and i will see if one of them is interested in givin you a quote. apprentices are always the best as they get paid bugger all and always looking for a quick cashy... kane and tommy are good fellas mate, they would be your best bet and live reasonably close to seaford son, which i think thats where you live. pepperoni.

Anyone got existing plans for a 10 metre long dugout (with a roof)? Or are there any qualified people on these forums willing to help out a club trying to get some dugouts built (building regs require a building permit for a structure with a roof greater than 10sq/m)? We have materials (42nb and 50nb gal pipe), a qualified builder, just need help with the plans and permit at a cheap price or preferably free! Cheers

pakkyp,
Try Essendon, they have just re-done their dugouts ... they might have some plans you can modify to your needs.

Not sure if this fits in this section or not, but some of the players at my club are wanting to get some small numbers for the backs of their helmets. Anyone know where the best place is to buy those type of stick on number things??

Anyone know a good contact for chain mesh fencing? The black stuff that is on some fields.
I think the Otters (Waverley) do it, but looking for a tradie I can "help out" with some business. Smallish job in Doncaster, 6 foot fence with gate, approx 15m long. PM me if you know anyone or do fencing yourself.

Hi all,
I have a spa that I need set up in my backyard. If anyone is skilled in this area, or could pass on details of someone they may know, it would be much appreciated.

I'm brand new to the forums, so forgive me if I'm not getting this right... FYI the Baseball Victoria website has a business directory and I am keen to kick start this again. Small business is really suffering at the moment and anything the Baseball community can do to help each other I am all for. I volenteer on Mondays and if you want to send me your business details I'll do everything I can to get you listed free. And shh don't tell anyone... when Bubbie comes back to Melbourne we have some fun plans to get him to help promote your business! Attention Michelle Playball@baseballvictoria.com.au Or use the links here www.baseballvictoria.com.au/default.asp?Page=63538&MenuID=About_Us/14430/0
