Fixtures are out, Div 1 and now three Div 2 divisions (North-West, East, and South).
Season starts Monday the 24th.
Looks like Geelong are back to two teams. Waverley, Bonbeach, Sandringham and Mulgrave two teams, and Melbourne three teams. I think Croydon and Mornington are new too (not sure what happened to the proposed Malvern team ?)
Seems a case of "Build it and they will come" :-)
Enjoy the season lads !

Can we buy tickets to games at the gate or do we have to wait until they are available online?

Can we buy tickets to games at the gate or do we have to wait until they are available online? We are currently negotiating with the Council with regard parking, toilet facilities, and the erection of a new stand down the right field line (for some of our Masters boys it may be the first........they have seen in a while) Id suggest you watch the PBC website for more information PTBN

Seems Fitzroy may have a 'big' inclusion this Season in Div 2 Masters ! One teams loss in anothers gain I guess That said Ill predict the Bee's as the Fav's now in Div 2 Nth/West but the top 4 may be a tight tussle all season long I suspect. Good luck all you 'old' blokes starting this Monday

Game @ Preston tonight has been called off. Not surprising really as it has been raining non-stop here all day.

Essendon v Melbourne A got about 75 minutes in total despite playing in a fairly constant blizzard. Melb were keen and their bats were strong to win 11-1. It does help playing on a plastic, though Chopper looked a little worse for wear after spending most of the game in the home plate mud. Major dilema with Laney having to play which removed him from bbq duties - even Goblin nearly suited up! Microwave came in handy.

Melbourne A def Mulgrave 17-10. Close for most of the game with both sides hitting the ball well. Mulgrave's attention began waning as Simon Campbell tried to burn the clubrooms down with the dodgy bbq...anyone for well done sausages ;-)

Where were you Wyatt? I thought you would have been down to teach your "MCC snobs" a thing or two?

Ha! Do you know how to cook sausages Wyatt? Post MCC Masters home games the club Executive Chef usually lays out cucumber and smoked salmon sandwiches washed down with Cristal bubbles!
Oh, you mean his cannon arm ;-)

Saving the wing till after Xmas boys, but will definately be lining up for the rebels masters soon enough. Just waiting for the right moment. As for the mcc snobs, last time I was at the club after a game, the chrystal hadnt been chilled to it's 3.56 degrees for optimum character and palate. Also the caviar and cucumber sangers had been put out a little too early, and the bread was just a tad crusty. But besides that, they're a great club, that mcc of baseball! I have to say that, otherwise I'm on the couch for the rest of the weekend.

Buccaneers (Preston-Reservoir) beaten by the Lions 8-4 in the late game at Altona tonight.
Game was close and played in good spirit but a 5-run 4th inning for the Royboys was the difference (unfortunately) :-(
