As mentioned at the last P & S meeting grounds were audited. Has anyone received an email about the audit.

Haven't seen anything, but I know Sandy's moved a base or two a few inches to align everything, but I have heard that one club found the distance between hill and plate was closer to 62 feet than 60 feet 6 inches.

Hmmmm SC I hope that is our ground in Winter as that will have me feeling much better I wonder if the audit included sun position and glare for evening games ? Tough one to assess with the sun moving position over Summer but there are a few grounds that shouldnt be used at certain times of the year later in the day if there is no cloud cover in my view.

Ours was found to be 61 feet 3. Is anyone present from the clubs when these audits are done? And how often are they done?

Do they have to visit the grounds 3 times in a year? Oh right, the bases move by themselves throughout the season

Barb, it wouldn't matter what the distance the left field fence was @ the Nation's ground, you still couldn't hit one out of there, as to the hitters they still have to hit the ball mate ! ! ! !

Heckle me this heckle me that... In fact it's the only fence I've cleared in multiples. Problem is, I've pitched a lot more over that fence than I reckon I'll ever hit.

Does it only pick up in the summer?
