We know a few of the boys who play for the Auburn Braves who are also undefeated and it would be a good game against the boys I reckon.

PS. We got beat by the Inland Angels today and they are also undefeated and not a bad team with a few big Hitters and the Redbacks play them on Thursday but for now it looks like the Redbacks will get thru to the next round and are a chance to get a ring.

I can say that the Redbacks have been pretty efficient with their pitchers so far, I am kindof expecting to see Jexy trow and we have thrown almost everyone twice in a desperate attempt to get thru games ! Its been fun though, it's a great tournament...always is.

Yeah we got beat by the Redbacks today, it was great to see so many familiar faces out there so far from home. We have a team that is struggling and the Redbacks hit real well and will be in contention. We did our best to be competitive but one bad dig cost us but i was real proud of our boys in fighting it out as they did. We played an Arvo game at Diamondbacks/Rockies Salt River Stadium which is brand new and beautiful, shame I spent my day Managing and hobbling around after doing my friggin back last night watching TV ??

Game 6 result for Aussie Redbacks
The Redbacks suffered their 1st loss of the tournament this morning.
Inland Angels defeated the Redbacks 15-2
With the final finishing positions already locked in this morning 99% of the players played in positions that they have not done in their earlier careers.
Both the Angels and the Redbacks were assured of a top 2 finish and a bye in the 1st round of the finals which kick off tomorrow.
Details and photos of the day will be done latter tonight.
Also today, the St Thomas Storm had a 11 all draw which will be enough to get them into the finals round which kicks off tomorrow morning
Right now its alcohol O'Clock, let fun begin.

Well done boys, did you notice that the Angels had mainly lefty Hitters today...they had 7of10 Hitters as leftys in the game we had against them and a couple of them can hit the ball long and hard. Beware the Auburn Braves though, we know about half of them well (Ive played with 2 of the boys myself) and they are a very solid team too. Our boys have just headed off to our last game, I'm laid up here at the house with my back problem and watching crap American TV :-(

Thanks Goblin, the boys were pretty happy with the win, as it turns out we went two and four and all six teams we played made the playoffs so we had a pretty tough draw in hindsight, but we would have struggled if we had of advanced. Good luck to all the Redbacks boys and supporters over here moving forward.

I only saw the last few innings today but it seems the Braves got a few early against the Redback boys but Jexy held them at about 6 runs through the middle-late innings and it was 6-2 in the 8th but it seems the Redbacks couldnt string hits together against the Braves starter who threw well and a complete game. The Braves tacked on 5 late to put the game out of reach. The Braves are a quality side and may well win it all (many of our Buzzards play with Braves players and two Braves were in our World masters team in Sydney year before last) And they threw their best at the Redbacks which was a credit to the boys and how they were seen by the Braves.
