Gotta post this as I am really proud of the club that I am a Life Member at, namely North Coburg (ex Reservoir) 'Rebels' Winter Baseball Club (VWBL). Last week (after our season was well and truly over) three of our boys including the Pres and the Coach conducted a Clinic/'Come and Try' day for/with a group of young adults from the Broadmeadows Disabled Association. From all reports it went great and it sounds like our boys had as much fun AND got as much out of this day (to do with Baseball and Life generally) as the young adults and their Carers and Workers that were there. Well done guys

Awesome stuff Gaz.
Something to be VERY proud of, both as representatives of baseball and as members of the human race.
The Rebels are an awesome club and regardless of apparent lack of on field success, all clubs should aspire to acheive what you guys have over the last few years.
Keep blowing the Rebels trumpet mate, it's well deserved!

First rate work - well done to all concerned. Everyone has the right to be right to be proud of all involved.
I believe Cheltenham has run something similar over recent years as well, and run it well from the little I saw.

Cheltenham run a day for the kid from berindale disabled school. Big day with lost of prizes and food and a game at the end between the kids. And a couple of the umpires from the league get into it also. Followed by the a grade game after. Good to see other clubs reaching out also
