It's now 9.45pm and still no postings or the the results of all GF's played today - even on the MWBL site - nothing? (regular season details are posted around 8.00pm) No doubt there are GF parties going on for the winners and the losers, but surely the results are known and someone can put just the scores up for us not already in the know..?

Thanks farnt for the personalized response.
I'm sure I had much more fun at a 2nd birthday and dinner at the inlaws yesterday, then a baby shower today!! Earning crucial brownie points between seasons.

Is it true that Formisano didn't pitch in the grand final because he went to his girl friend's cousins christening?

After a great season hopefully nobody wants to leave Knox... Id hate for them to have to ask to be sent back down to B grade again.

Is it true that Formisano didn't pitch in the grand final because he went to his girl friend's cousins christening? I reckon he pitched pretty good on the weekend - maybe his infield should have gone to a christening on the weekend! He missed the first final where his team got beat by Monty the first time...dont think him not being there made much difference. All Cred to young Thorpe he threw a quality game on the weekend and his hitters for backing him up. Bit disappointing that Scott Daws voiced his concern to the umpires that he thought young Hayden Gardner would drill a batter late in the game. No respect at all when up by nine - Hayden's better than that and besides if it happened, accidents happen in baseball don't they Scott. Ironically on that note, well said AndyT. Good to see Knox back in A Grade. Can't wait to trek out to the rain belt next year.

When a player gets hit in the head (helmet) by the pitch I think the coach is entitled to voice his concern.

No, the concern wasn't at Scrawny getting hit by the pitch in the helmet... the concern is when the opposition coach walks out of the dugout down by 9 runs and points to his guts trying to signal the pitcher. oh yeah, in the bottom of the 7th too...

Congratulations I dont think the Saint is trying to take anything away from the way Knox has gone about earning their way back up to A grade...More about them not earning their way down to B grade. Well Done to the Knox guys on a great season.

Nah, nothing there. It has been a relatively long game by then if you were wearing black and red, and I think Stu could probably smell the dimmy's were ready. Stu got wrongly suspended years ago you may recall folloring a discussion with an ump about sliding into second so I reckon he's smarter than to walk out of the dugout and then signal his pitcher to drill someone. Nice game by you too big Stockley with the triple and warning track oppo pop up!
