The Brewers were never in the hunt and finished up on the end of an 11-2 thumping at the hands of Guild Lions, who have collected their second A Grade title in three years under Manager Michael Darcy. In A Reserve Guild beat Lara 15-8. Colac smashed Corio 24-5 in B Grade, completing a double for that clubs also as the Braves rolled Mounties 9-6 in B Reserve. Continuing the run of one-run finals in C Grade, Deakin got over the line 9-8 against Lara. Congratulations to all premier teams. www.geelongassociation.baseball.com.au

Great review of the finals Kingsley, but did you miss something? Seems to me there was a lot of anger directed at one particular City player after an on field incident?

Tempers did become a little frayed (as they can in the heat of battle), but I'll leave comment on any alleged incident to umpires and/or association officials.

Ever the diplomat mate, well answered. I wonder if any of the other 500 people at the game wish to comment? Unless of course, everyone is waiting for the the official word.
