Just a quick question, and sorry if it has been discussed previously, but with the weather forecast being crap on the weekend, what is the DBA's position on wash outs during finals? Do the games get played the week after?
Hoping this doesn't happen, just wanting to know in case.

Play the next week, not sure if it has ever happened but I know of a couple of games that were tied when light halted play that were replayed the next week. I think there was also a protest a few years ago in a lower grade game that gave the 2nd semi winner a 2 week break as the preliminary had to be replayed.
I also remember a GF being played at Bonbeach in the heavy rain because the next week was footy GF.

FYI for MWBL peoples:
No-Result Rule: Where wet or inclement weather or ground conditions prevent a game not achieving the Minimum Game Requirements (90 minutes or 5 innings) or reaching the maximum playing time without a result, the following procedure will apply: 1. SEMI FINALS: All Grades – Saturday Game Day / Sunday in case of Saturday washout Tuesday night for A Grade and B Grade only. Highest placed team moves to next round if Sunday washed out 2. PRELIMINARY FINALS: All Grades – Saturday Game Day / Sunday in case of washout Tuesday night for A Grade and B Grade only. Highest placed team moves to next round if Sunday washed out 3. GRAND FINALS: All Grades – Saturday Game Day / Sunday in case of washout Tuesday night for A Grade and B Grade only. GRAND FINALS REPLAY IF REQUIRED: All Grades – Saturday Game Day / Sunday in case of Saturday washout If week four washed out, dual premiers will be declared
