Interested to hear member opinion in regards to baseball participation numbers across the board, in particular the junior criteria for Div 1 & 2.
I believe the addition of Hube's to the BV Staff is possibly one of the best moves in years. Hopefully with his knowledge, name and experience in the sport we can see the participation level rise and more people getting involved in the game.
With the sport still being seen as a lower profile sport, is is fair and just on clubs to be forced by criteria to come up with the necessary numbers to play determined level of baseball. Is the expectation too high? Do people see a link between the still growing ABL and its profile and the ability for clubs to garner a higher participation of juniors within clubs?
What of clubs who utilised Aussie T-Ball the first year, how was this received within schools, by kids, etc? Is this going to be the answer or part of the answer for higher participation?
