Great to hear Mount Gambier commit to entering a side into the Senior Championships in Geelong this year!! Hopefully, this will create further exposure of our great sport.
The only question I have is this: With the possiblity of 12 teams in the championships, how is the scheduling to be done? I know there was only 1 game last year that was played away from the main baseball complex (between DV & City), there was always a bye and only 4 diamonds were needed each other 'timeslot'. However with the possibility of 6 games in each round and 6 teams in each division, how is this to be managed for teams to play everyone in their Division? Earlier starts? Twilight / Night games?
Either way, as always looking forward to the championships and another awesome weekend of baseball!
