Its a good move and really doesnt take too long to complete (online course) and its free so that part shouldnt be a barrier for any mums or dads wanting to get involved and have a crack at coaching. Any future moves to have more accreditation will definately put some folk off lending a hand around their local club.

When you are a volunteer at Auskick you are inivited to do a Level 0 (helper) or Level 1 (coach) course. I vaguely remember that it may have been paid by the zone you were in. It also covered safety of and around children. The online course covers a lot of these topics and IMHO is well worth it. If a kid in country victoria has great skills and has been taught in the same methods as the city kid, it makes it easier on them if they get to the next representative level. In the end it is for all kids to benefit.
