A lot of talk, just because a canteen was or wasn't open. I am sure all clubs like the extra revenue the canteen brings. Which ever ground it was(if any), both have places near by to purchase food. Melb has the swimming pool across the car park and Bonbeach have a Milk Bar a couple of hundred meters up the road. If it's too hot you could take your togs and have a swim while waiting for the game to start. Regards Colin

Couldn't have been Melbourne. I purchased two glasses of Verve and some salmon and cucumber sandwitches with the crusts cut off early in the day (standard MCC fare). Ha... I hope they had the "no riff raff" sign up

Personally having a crack at a club because of their canteen, shouldn't warrant to much forum space. Saying that St kilda was appalling yesterday. No food and water, warm soft drinks and after the game no one working there. The beach was nice though....
