With no contract tendered by the Braves does this mean that Moylan is going or will he sign for a lesser amount?

He'll sign for a lessor amount.
To put it simply, if the Braves had tendered a contract, being arbitration elgible he could have got $2M again and the Braves aren't prepared to pay that much for a guy who has missed so much time through injury.
I guess they will re-sign him to a more reasonable contract and allow him to prove himself again and win his MLB roster spot back.
After the way Kimbrel closed and Venters and O'Flaherty pitched last year it will be hard to break back in but it's not the first time Pete has overcome adversity.

I'm sure there's plenty other clubs who would take a chance if the braves didn't anyway.

Buster Olney tweeted the other day that the Red Sox could come calling and then added "you know why Pete".
At this point he could get offered substantially less by any team willing to take a chance on a guy who has had two surgeries the past year (back and shoulder) but also had two seasons with 87 and 85 appearances.
All I know is that he and Spearsy are training the house down to get ready for Spring. I've never known Pete to train so hard.
I'm still hoping he goes back to the Braves as they have a road trip in June to both Boston and New York which I am hoping to be at!!

Not really up on the legal contract talk, but is this a spot on tge 40 man roster, or does he still have to come thru the minors. And if he does, is he going to throw more innings, or play the same roll he does in the show? Either way, its still good news for him.

I was lucky enough to see a few details and I can tell you it's a minor league contract (Gwinnett AAA) and a big league Spring Training invite.
A load of incentives and we will no doubt see Pete in the Bigs within the first few weeks of the season.

Saw he had a work out at the new Valhalla institute, was hitting the glove very hard by all reports!
