Wanted! Any players ex/current and friends (other clubs are more than welcome!) who've attended a night at "The Patch".As you may be aware, after 65 years Frankston Baseball Club's 'spiritual' home will be no longer at the end of this year. That's right, we have to move. Over the years, the Tomato’s has been host to so many great nights, great music & of course great people! It’s time to say goodbye……… so we want YOU and anyone else who’s been to one of those nights to get yourself a babysitter and get on down and relive some of the good ole days!! We’ve managed to lure back a range of past acts, all of which haven’t played at “The Patch” in over a decade! Acts range from acoustic music to allow you to catch up & share a drink with old mates, then headlined by “The Ned Flanders Experience” playing good old electric guitar 90’s ROCK ‘N’ ROLL to let you shake that thing !!!! Check out the flyer at frankstontomatoes.com.au/ for details. (Tickets are limited and must be bought prior to the night. Purchase either behind the bar or contact Ant Richards 0409 231 980 or email antsman74@hotmail.com) Attachments:

Just a reminder that you cannot buy tickets on the night, they must be pre-bought before Saturday 23rd July (for catering etc). However, tickets are selling fast, and they are limited!!!!! Either contact me on the details above, or see Matty behind the bar.

Fellow Tomatopalootions! At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we're nearly fully booked! Just looking through the list of attendees, some current players haven't booked a ticket yet, and a lot have booked but not yet paid your hard earned cash...unfortunately we're close to saying if you haven't paid, then we will need to allocate booked but unpaid tickets, to those who pay first. (paying by 23rd July was only a guide unless sold out prior.) Having said this, it means there's heaps attending! So don't miss out on a great night out!! Email or ring Ant (see above) or see Matty behind the bar.

Another sensational night at Tomatoland on Saturday night, some things will never change and having a great night with your baseball mates at Frankston is one of them. Potto falling over at the bar, not being able to get a taxi until daylight and hanging off the rafters are all others! Congratulations to Ant Richards for all his organising, to all the singers and band members who got up and performed, to Andy W for convincing a new tomatoette to swap clothes, hilariuos.....to every past and present player / member and finally to the other club members who made the effort to come along. Despite its indifferences the DBA can still unite when it wants to. It was fantastic to catch up with some good friends and recount some of the sensational history of the Frankston clubrooms! Stay tuned for some more end of an era celebrations at the patch including a rumoured return of the famous jazzy o. Won't see that advertised so keep your ear to the ground. Timmy H.
