I was driving in Carnigie today and saw what is either a softball or baseball diamond being built there is a substancial backstop and full infield in Bailey's park eastboundry RD anyone know who is the lucky owners/ occupiers?

With all of the problem that the aces had with the showgrounds last year I heard that they had a half a million dollar grant to build a new ground. Maybe they are building it in Carnegie?

Home of Moorabbin Softball for at least 20 years. There was a large outdoor pool there for a long time which has been redeveloped to an inddor one i believe. Likely this would prompt redevlopment of softball facilities if it encroached on the main diamond. From memory there's about four diamonds there.

P26 is spot on. It's also East Bentleigh not Carnegie.
