From Chuck Garfien's White Sox Blog:
@grc1986: Which rookies will get the September call up this year? Will Mark Buehrle be back next year or not?
The top candidates to be called up are Viciedo, Jordan Danks(really want to see him play OF), Lastings Milledge, plus pitchers Shane Lindsay and Dylan Axelrod.
The Buehrle situation is definitely a big question mark. He hasn’t come out and said it recently, but my guess is he wants to keep playing, especially after the season he’s having. The question for the Sox is, will they slash payroll? And if they do, will they have enough money to re-sign Buehrle, who is making $14 million in 2011?
To beat teams in the A-L Central, you need a couple good lefties in your rotation. The Sox have Buehrle, they also have John Danks, who will be a free agent after 2012.
Are the Sox willing to part with one or both of them??
Solving this will be a high priority for the White Sox in the off-season. And sorry, I don’t know the answer to it. Not sure if the Sox do either right now.
Thanks for the questions everyone! Sorry if I didn’t get to yours. We’ll do this again soon.

Absolutely well deserved.
Whilst Shano is now the thirtieth Aussie to crack the big show, the bigger question, is Shano the first Aussie Ranga to make it?

Lindsay made his MLB debut today in an 8-1 loss to the Tigers.
Shane threw an innings, walked one, but got Austin Jackson on a called third strike to end the innings.
Congratulations to him.

Great story on ESPN Chicago about Shane and his mum "Journey from 'Down Under' moves Sox"espn.go.com/blog/chicago/white-sox/post/_/id/7376/journey-from-down-under-moves-white-soxUpon hearing about her son’s promotion to the major leagues this week in a 4 a.m. phone call Australia time, Kerry Lindsay jumped out of bed, packed a bag and went straight to the airport where she purchased a round-trip ticket on the spot for the paltry sum of $4,000 (U.S.). Tough day at the office for Shane. Came in to the game in the 6th., gave up 7 runs in 43 pitches. Detroit lead CHW 16-0 top 7th. Hang tough Shane, don't forget that you CAN do it!

Just watched Shane strike out the side while giving up a walk and a double (should have been a triple if Cabrera didn't face-plant after rounding first) that led to a run.
The last batter was lucky to last more than 3 pitches according to the graphic representation of the strike zone they showed...3 pitches 3 strikes according to the technology...count was 2-1!

Pretty good outing by Shane today. Threw three digs for 2 hits and 2 walks. Just 1 strike out but no runs conceded after Detroit had blasted 14 in the first six innings.
ERA down to 12.00

His fastball packed some punch today, he hit a very nice 98mph on the radar gun! Oh and its good to see him get Miguel Cabrera out this time.
