Very good line up racer , nearly a clean sheet of home breed boys Yep 350 not bad at all and that guy at number 9 wasn't any good until he came down here and we taught him how to play some 10 years ago now This was my "whatif" lineup last night, probably should be in the Dribble thread because it won't happen for quite a few years yet, our homegrowns are still at college/university really learning how to play the game. We will give the big market teams a run when we can get our kids back together

Essendon have a wealth of Kids ready to push for a spot in the ones Sam Moon, Chris Lane, Jarrod Rogers. Tambo is fit as I have ever seen him and when he is fit he is one of the best going around didn't/isn't Laney going to college??

Moony and Laney have proven they can play ones Darkness and in my opion them and Jarrod will continue to play lots of ones this year but no disrepect to them but Tambo and Tristan have the runs on the board at the moment. Tambo did his arm more than 12 months ago and has been training the house down.
Hey RB I think at the start of the season the Deano and Drinky will start in the twos to blow the cobwebs out and then it will come down to whoever is performing.

Dean is still over in the States and the older pollock is just coming back so I would assume he wouldn't start the first game in the ones. This team may change alot over the year.

Timmy Delwo is also still in the states along with Tommy Dicker and Nohlan Maher. Will be good like Geelong when all our boys come back from o/s. Shane Linsday too.

why does everyone let everyone know their starting line ups? I dont see the point.
some things are best kept to yourself

must admit I didn't actually think that anyone would post an actual lineup. Just wanted to see if anyone else thought Cam wouldn't make the Blacky Allstars as a starting outfielder

completely agree strap, what a bunch of tools.
half the people cant even get their line ups right.
pitchers: worry about throwing strikes. hitters: worry about getting hits.

and perhaps Jock Strap worrying about himself a bit more and not me? Its cool though Jock Strap, I love how you devote so much time and effort to my cause.
Still waiting to find out who you are though... I think the question would more likely be - do you think you are good enough to make the Blacky lineup?? i'm thinking no.
anyways, i'm not the coach so I don't set the lineup. I know though that I have left someone out of our lineup on purpose....

Perhaps you have decided that your best position is on the hill. And taking your dangerous bat and gold glove out of right field is the best option for you to retain your "fee free" status at Blacky

To wildcat 09
Do you really think knowing the opposition line up makes a difference on how two teams play?
Whether Cam Hardy starts or Wilson I am still going to prepare the same.
Do you think by keeping Waverly's line up your own little secret you are going to win more games?
Good luck if thats what you are pinning your hopes on this year!

It's hardly going to be a secret these days anyway - most club's post their teams on the web mid-week, so if you REALLy need to know who your opponents are, you can check.
Besides, until the final training session before the season, it is unlikely coaches and admin actually know for sure who is palying week one, who is unavailable, and between now and then small injuries (unfortunately) do occur...

Firstly I didn't say that no one knows anyone elses line up. What I am saying is what is the point, especially when half the people posting on this thread dont even know their own line ups. Just look back at the doncaster one.....trust me when I say that I dont need to pin my hopes on anything this year. My team will be AOK. secondly, dont play for waverley.

maybe it is "The Pearl". I do remember Earl lived with Darren Berry for a while when playing with the Bushies. I also remember a story they went upstairs and blanket bashed him and then he came downstairs and asked if anyone saw anything???
