while i consider myself to be normally quite a shy and socially inept, i do encourage banter and sledging. i especially enjoy it when it is fuelled by alcohol, which im sure will be the case this coming sunday.

Ive got one for ya... not sure of the spelling but
Micka vanstern played at geelong and sunshine. scarrrryyyyyyyy dude.. great bloke off the field or when he was on your team but very angry when he played. i remember when we were in darwin on a trip away with the provintials and a pitcher from act came up to micka and started popping off and said, HEY MATE I PLAY FOR ACT AND I THROW HEAT, micka just went wack with a mighty headbut and just kept on talking to us like nothing happened.

micka was crazy, sorry still is. he once tried to stab a cricket umpire with a stump for giving him out lbw. ripped the stump out of the ground and chased the ump into the car park before about 8 blokes stopped him. thats vintage micka.
great bloke though. some of you guys might remember a winter carnival at i think mildura. micka trying to catch against DV still drink white cans. he pissed on half the team that night trying to find the toilet in his room.

I always had (and still have) an enormous amount of respect for Kloppy - the man had bigger forearms than Popeye!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to blow you a kiss, was to busy kicking Frankstons anus. Kicking... well. The real winner on the day was 'bang for your buck'. I heard there was more ass kicking back at the Rustler den later in the evening. Seems that the whole club loyalty thing might have come up... not that I would ever condone such questions being asked within the confines of such a proud and noble baseball fraternity as the Cheltenham two teams. Just on that, when did you blow through the Chelt door? You weren't always there were you?

Just on that, when did you blow through the Chelt door? You weren't always there were you? hey southside, missed you. um, yeah, bang for your buck indeed. That's a flag baby! There was a few hugs and kisses exchanged by the boys on sunday night, mainly because we were happy with the outcome earlier. Everyone has confused this aggressive style of hugging. Don't know why. Came across this year from the VWBL. There is certainly a lot more life in the DBA. Better blokes, better atmosphere, less politics. Never seen so many people at a game of baseball than at the DBA final or at Chelt the week before. Says alot about the league. you still playing? (my lame attempt to weed you out)
