Team Yesterday Total Games
Adelaide Bite 167 1,578 4 395 Auckland Tuatara 297 897 2 449 Brisbane Bandits 0 1,801 3 600 Canberra Cavalry 0 0 0 0 Geelong-Korea 345 1,416 4 354 Melbourne Aces 0 2,232 3 744 Perth Heat 0 3,250 3 1,083 Sydney Blue Sox 614 6,505 8 813
Geelong with average of 354 over 4 games, figure first game, certainly a chance for an intimate baseball experience. Derby games should give them a bounce but Auckland games could be very spa***. (LOL it was s*p*a*r*s*e which inadvertently contains an offensive word.)
Aces with 744, which is up slightly so far this year. Perth is highest and per capita well ahead.

Geelong-Korea (call them the SurfCats) will have had only three open dates and not four given their double header on Saturday, while Sydney will be on seven and not eight due to their twin bill against the Cavalry on Saturday.

Stats are from MiLB web page, not my own numbers, if your saying their numbers are wrong due to double headers, it may be so, but I presume they have been consistent over the years, so for comparision of numbers then it is makes sense to do as previously.

The figures for each game (or each doubleheader) are really not definitive since we don't know if they are taken from ticket pre-sales or from the number of people actually there.
However, they do indicate trends. While Sydney management would be especially delighted with their Saturday night numbers - Adelaide would have to be concerned. Potential Auckland and Geelong support was unknown leading into the season as those teams become established, though I was impressed with the consistency of numbers in Geelong across the weekend (even with poor weather except for Sunday). That suggests to me that there is already a support base that will keep coming back.
Support for the Aces/Geelong Korea series will be interesting.
