"VSBL Divvy 2 Grand Final preview is on their site today and it's a good one. Where has this kind of reporting been hiding all season? Good job by the un-named writer."
Totally agree with those sentiments, perfeckt.
Let us have more of this quality coverage, more often.

With Gareth Formisano and Russell Spear combining to strike out nine and concede just one hit in their club's 4-1 win over Melbourne, Essendon Bombers are surely well on the way to a remarkable sixth Division One title on the trot when the three-game series resumes on Saturday.

Was a fairly dominant display by the bombers pitchers, but the Melb guys actually did pretty well. Couple errors in the first and giving up 3 of their 4 runs in that dig, the Melbourne pitchers actually did pretty well for most of the game. But that's what makes our game so much bloody fun! Be interesting to keep an eye on says game.

Superb climax to the Summer League season, with the Division One and Division Two Grand Final series both going to three games.
Sunshine held on 4-3 over Upwey in Division Two, while Melbourne kept Essendon scoreless after the first for a 4-2 result in Division One.
The four clubs will be back it at Melbourne Ballpark on Sunday, with the Division Two decider starting at 1.00 and the Division One game at 4.00.
Best wishes to all teams still to play Grand Finals.

A tough assignment to win ANY title at Division One Summer League level, but to deliver six times on the trot is simply sensational.
Congratulations to the Essendon Baseball Club on its thrilling 1-0 result over a terrific opponent in Melbourne Baseball Club!
Congratulations, too, to Sunshine Baseball Club on its Division Two title after securing the minor premiership and earning promotion for next season.
And plaudits of course for Mulgrave Rebels, who edged out Pakenham in Division Three.
Congratulations to all winners, in all grades. Well done to runners-up and to other teams making finals series.
Enjoy the experience. Party long and hard.

If I knew how to post off Facebook I'd add a link of the last bottom of the ninth at dandy yesterday. Was amazing to finally break the drought!

The reporting of the G'finals period of several senior divisions including the women's has been chalk and cheese when compared to the home and away season. It has shown insight, connection and personality along with statistical info from the season. In short the articles have been well written and presented online as rapidly as can be expected.
Two questions (for now) that I'd like to pose to the VSBL 1. Where have you been hiding this talent for season 2016/7? 2. Why isn't the writer being credited for his/her efforts. Easily the best from VSBL for season 2016/7.
To whoever you are good job.

I'd also add that this style of prompt and insightful writing should be the bench mark from which to build upon for future seasons.
