Have a 13 yr old, who has just taken up winter baseball and really enjoying it. Had played cricket for 5 years but is enjoying baseball far more. However looking at summer league, it seems that they only play Sunday morning and 'Friday evening. Unfortunately that is only two times he is not available, he could play any time Sat day or after 10:30 am Sunday. Any U14/U15 games in Melbourne that plays on Saturday in summer? (We are located in Melbourne's east not far from east link so happy to drive down a bit to find a team.)

Hi Baseballnewby,
All of the junior charters play on Sunday mornings for the junior league age group (14u @30/4/2017). The charters will have their academies on Saturdays but generally you need to be participation in a charter team to do the academy. Some charters will also have a mid week tournament. As an example, this season the Southern Mariners are 95% likely to have an intermediate league tournament which may suit your son on a Wednesday evening. The clubs participating at this stage is unknown, however I know Cheltenham will have a team and so may Sandringham. If you want any further info I can be contacted at Southernmariners@gmail.com

Thanks for the replies, I'm from RD zone, but close to the top of East Link. At the moment looking at Softball clubse, he is playing in a team with a number of softballers in it.
