Afternoon All,
We have recently upgraded the infield at Frankston Baseball club and are looking for a suitable crushed rock or dust to cover the base paths with.
I was referred to Unique Crushed Bricks who do a 3mm to Dust en tous cas as used by many clubs including the Aces. However, they have closed down due to dwindling sales. Disappointing as we had council approval to order a truckload.
So, could anyone advise what they use, and more importantly where it comes from? Unique made their own and added Bentonite to it to avoid it blowing away. I'm sure someone else in Melbourne does it? or something similar.
Thanks in advance.
Tim Hanson.

Gavan Young told me about a supplier of crushed brick, Eco Group in Clayton, Phone 1300326476 (check out their website) Gavan said their Ultrafine (2.5mm) looked to be a good product but I don't think there is any Bentonite in it and it is $280 a cu/metre but if the council is paying load the truck.

Thanks Fuzzy, I spoke with Eco Group late yesterday, they are looking at how Unique Bricks manufactured their dust with a view to doing something similar, adding the Bentonite seems to be the main difference in what they already have. I'll go and look at their product and take it from there. Appreciate your help.
