How does insurance work? I hurt my shoulder playing this season and haven't been able to play since, but the main issue is I'm not meant to be working with it. It is at the very least not healing at all but I can not take time off to allow it to heal as I have rent and bills and groceries etc. to pay. Is there any time off work allowance or anything of the sort? I've tried the bv website to no avail

I would if I knew who did baseball Victoria's insurance and I'm sure I can ask someone at my club during the week but thought I'd try here first as its getting unbearable to be at work Try this www.baseball.com.au/MyMembership/InsuranceAs long as you have paid the insurance part of your fees, then you have access to make a claim. Including loss of income etc you will need your club secretary to sign off the paperwork as well as the BV Competition Manager. Make sure you keep all receipts etc and if visited the doctor then you will will the doctor to sign off their part as well
