We're off on the 12th and most fixtures released. Good to see loads of new teams. O38 East includes two Melbourne, two Research, two Croydon and two Upwey teams so plenty of home derby's. Looks like O45 and O38 South being finalised.
I'm very Big Kev.

Rebel master back up and running last night, and what a way to bounce back! A fest of runs, with the grubs getting up 12-11 in the end. Scott pep working hard on the hill for the gravies, and some excellent hitting right down the lineup, with rookie Rash, coming up clutch with some timely hitting, Nostradalton pinging a hammy trying to stretch a triple, but coming back later and leading of with a double but only got to first....barely! Couple of double plays and a rundown play, you soon forget that these guys know the game. A good turn out, and big up to the sandy boys for hanging around. I did have to excuse myself last night after the game as megadeth at festival is a mustn't miss, and well, I wasn't going to miss. Looking forward to a good season of masters baseball.....METAL!

Well done Damo - good to hear you got the band back together at Mulgrave (see what I did there). The Melbourne boys miss your shenanigans but seem to be going OK on the field without you

While I enjoy my masters baseball on on Monday night, why on earth do Baseball Victoria continue to fixture games on Cup Eve and this year on Australia Day Eve. I though this was discussed a couple of years back through a masters sub committee and it was suggested that it really doesn't work.

Let's be honest, if you had 2 less games during the season due to cup eve and Australia Day eve you would than probably be on here criticising that. Is there room to add 2 weeks to the end of the season? Or started season a week earlier. Or what other solutions would you suggest? It Sucks balls if you want to go away those weekends

We're the pre function entertainment for a Helloween extravaganza! The boys are looking forward to it! And the league in their wisdom have given is a home game to accommodate our evening!

It is a pain in the backside but in reality, at the end of the day it is a game of baseball and a chance to have a few extra beers knowing full well that the next morning is still a long way away. Grin and bear it or play on the sunday where it is serious in comparison.

After completing the first stanza of the Masters comp. I am totally mystified as to how someone worked out the draw. Down Bonbeach way, we manage to play Mulgrave three times all at home, only play one of the Mornington sides once, don't play either Berwick team at all. I do believe that there must have been a drunken darts game in progress when the draw was done. It just doesn't make sense.

We are currently second, and we don't play the all powerful spring tomato lions(?), or Chelsea. But we do play mornington another 15 times before the finals....got me buggered too boof! Now get off the plate pr I'll plonk you...again!

Masters 38+ East fixtures are just as messed up. Cannot see any logic in either draws

I am now starting to think it was just a bad hair day and running late for the hair salon appointment. And Wyatt, it is safer standing in the middle of the plate.

Sounds like you have lost the spirit of Masters Boof. Maybe you should sit in a field with your toes in the sand & remember why we play on a Monday.
