Evening all,
Was wondering if anyone in their travels had opinions/knowledge/recommendations with regards to teams in UK? Moved over 6-7 weeks ago and while I have missed out this year (in playoffs) was wondering about which teams may be options to play with.
Looking southern leagues however thought I would ask if anyone knew of any players over here who could throw me some info? I am thinking Richmond, Croydon and Guildford are potential local teams however don't know about the grading differences.

Rammo,
All depends on the level you want to play, NBL is the highest level here but having said that it is probably the same level as Div2 Seconds. It would also depend on where you are based and how far you are willing to travel?

Thanks Bobby,
Currently a "solid" Div1 3rds (A Grade 3s) player and would be looking at similar.
Just not sure whether the A3s is equivalent to the UK Single A or Double A level

I played for the London Mets once upon a time. I'd suggest you look to the Mets, Richmond or Croydon - they are the bigger clubs and have a few teams so you can find one that better fits your ability. Also, keep in mind where you live - if you're in (say) Wembley getting to a home game (especially double-headers) at Croydon is a bit difficult.. takes a lot of time. A bit like some regional leagues, the quality is a bit varied between teams and also within teams.. bot those three clubs are pretty reliable.

I agree with Benmo, go to a club with a few teams so you can judge for yourself, even check out the BBF website. I watched the NBL and AAA finals series just gone and the standard would be suitable for most Div 1 3rds players.
