A brief Masters Grand Final report is posted on the Summer League website. www.vicsummerleague.baseball.com.au/default.asp?ID=92199Please forward to me any more images, relevant news or reports as you see fit. It seems that someone is not happy about my posting an image - and a good one at that, thanks Dan - from the "unsanctioned" Sandringham versus Bonbeach Grand Final played at Tulip Street. So here are some snaps anyhow from what was clearly a fun evening of Masters baseball. Congratulations to the winners. Well played, all.

I'll also play devils advocate, has anyone ever been seriously injured and successfully claimed against the insurance policy you pay for?

Just because it was an unsanctioned final does not mean there would be no insurance cover. No different than a training night or a practice game. Good point though on the claiming.

I'll also play devils advocate, has anyone ever been seriously injured and successfully claimed against the insurance policy you pay for? As secretary of the DBA, i personally have signed at least 6 injury claim forms for players All players received excellent coverage and all costs were paid out quickly... This insurance policy is so much better than the previous ones

The insurance policy still means nothing.
AWESOME game of baseball. From a spectators point of view it would have to be the best Masters game I've seen. It's a shame I'm not yet old enough to compete. I know my time will come, and more than likely all too soon.
BV are apparently investigating the game. Since I was the one that sent the letter to them stating Bonbeach couldn't play at Altona at 8:30pm, if they need to know anything, they can just call me. I saw the whole game. I'll even refer them to the photos here and the report that's on their website. What more investigating needs to be done?

B.V. might be a stickler for the rules, after all that's their job. 2 teams were happy to make their own decision to flout the rules and knowingly lose their 'official' title win. We all know who won and who deserved the win. Did someone mention 'sheep stations' for Masters, or was it t-ball?
