I know what I want to know.
Who is the guy in the Vic State Team Uni in this music video?!
He pops up around the 0:17 second mark and a few times throughout.
Not a bad song either

What do you know? What do you think? What do you think you know? I know there's no Womens games this weekend. I think they should have played this weekend, instead of playing Round 12 Jan 19, then no game until Feb 2. Surely this would be better than having 4 weeks off, play 1 game, then another 2 weeks until the next. I think i know why there's no games this weekend, but i'm keeping it to myself hoping that i'm wrong

Malvern v. Cheltenham on paper seems like a foregone conclusion but the Rustlers have a history of losing so called 'should win games' which have hurt them at seasons end. Malvern have nothing to lose by going for broke. Every game in this league is a challenge and I think that this game wont be a blow out.

Port mariners went down 4 0 to fitzroy in a good game of ball. Fitzroys import pretty handy, our bats were pretty quiet. Fitzroys 2's brought there cricket scorebook!

The Rustlers were held to just three hits but did enough for a 2-0 win over Malvern in another round of very close Division One contests - bar one, where Melbourne flexed its offensive muscle to smash Waverley 18-0 in seven. Preston continues to impress, this time beating Sunshine 12-7. Blackburn could not score until the seventh, but managed to get home 5-0 over Sandy. Upwey squandered a huge lead before falling in 7-6 over Essendon. In the Saturday game, Geelong retained its unbeaten record with a 5-1 result over Doncaster. www.vicsummerleague.baseball.com.au/

4crownies, spill the beans! Yesterday was a great day for baseball........but for some unknown reason, the women had a bye. Still unclear to me why a bye was scheduled.
Would love to know your theory!

Baffling that neither women's games nor junior games were played on the weekend just gone. Perfect weather for it and we just missed out! Looking at the results from last years corresponding round doesn't look like there were many forfeits (some scores not phoned through) so why no play this year? Hopefully this is rectified next year.

What makes the cancellation even more mystifying is that with the combined knowledge and club contacts of the forum contributors, no one has any idea as to the cause. .. not even a rumour! From Larry's post it doesn't appear to be based on recent history, so what are we to make of it all?

That person in the music clip is an old Sandringham player and Olympic Swimmer. Andrew Lauterstein. He was a state ball player as a catcher with the U/14 & U/16 and i think that he would of signed a contract but chose Olympic Swimming instead

Played with andy through out my juniors ad what a talent he was, could have signed or big $ but swimming was his first sports and clearly comes out ahead with endorsements than a signing bonus
