Hey KC, I wonder if the organisers would consider a discussion with the adjoining Aquatic Centre and perhaps organise a discounted 'Masters pass' over the 3 days? Could form part of the registration fee?
I went and sat in the spa/ steam room on the last day of the Carnival this year and it certainly helped me loosen up... hardly anyone in there too!
Looking forward to 2013!

KC Just wonder if the location is still the same, taking into consideration that Ballarat now has the Womens and Girls National a week or so before this?
Will be a very busy time in the Rat!
Hope to be there for both anyway...

Certainly going to involve some work, fkl, but the locals reckon they can handle the lot. After all, they get a few days break between the events.

The Bees 35's team has a few spots available if anyone is looking for someone to play with at the tournament. Accommodation has been booked as well as the pub for tea on Friday and Saturday nights. If you're interested PM with your details.

Well this weekend us old (and not as old) boys head up to Ballarat again for 3 days of baseball fun at the State Masters.
Good luck all.
FYI - I believe Chemist Warehouse has run out of ice packs, dencorub and anti-inflams !

I'll try to get a brief report and some images posted on the Vic Masters website (below) each evening. The quality of both will be directly commensurate to the volume of red consumed or not consumed by that point. No rain until Sunday, though fog on the Friday morning might make it interesting for the early starters. www.vicmasters.baseball.com.au

My spies tell me: Big Cat-Tomatoes win 35s defeating Guild and also 45s Div 1 defeating Coburg.

Our crew of 60+ 'Buccaneer' family and friends had a ball again this year KC thanks to YOU and the gang up there.
Our two teams (35+ and 45+) did a great job (just getting bloused for a Finals game this arvo) after some great wins against good sides which which we were thrilled about.
Congrats to all the winners and well done to all involved including the players of all teams that played true Masters baseball these past 3 days :-)

Yet again a perfect example of why Masters baseball is catching on so quickly.
A credit to the Ballarat crews and to KC and his organisation. Well done guys.
If you're eligible for masters and you enjoy fun baseball, do yourself a favour, get on a team and get to next years tournament.
Thanks to all the teams for participating.

A fantastic tournament once again Enjoyed by an ever increasing number of masters baseball enthusiasts including players, families ,umpires and scorers alike Perhaps the ABF and BV could come along one year and learn how to make a well run baseball series great fun for everyone and devoid of any controversy or issues. Once again to Kingsley and all involved it is a credit to you and Ballarat
