I have heard this question debated by various people over the years and I'm just wondering what people out in club land think.
So the question is "Who is responsible for the development of the game"
Is it the clubs, is it the league or is it up to some private individual or individuals to do it?
And the next thing is how do we go about it effectively, to make sure we get the best results?
I will leave it out there for you to debate, if you choose to.

A fascinating topic for discussion, journeyman. I see that the BV correspondent is tonight making some observations about what might or might not be happening in South Australian baseball. What IS happening over there? Is the game developing at all levels? Or are we just seeing a temporary spike at Claxton Shield level? There is a widespread feeling that Western Australia is going about its development in an effective manner. But, again, how do we measure perceived success? Through Claxton Shield wins, through doing well at national championships, through increasing our participation numbers at grassroots level? Through all of these? Sorry to answer your questions with more questions.
