Ok, so we're at the halfway point (nearly) in the SABL, who does everyone think will take the cake in each of the senior divisions?
Heres what I think...
Division 1:
Surprise packet Golden Grove have looked the goods, Port looking strong but the loss of Rusiz is big, Glenelg staying strong even after key outs. Goodwood will always be strong with Fidgey and Wigmore smashing balls. Grovers have the edge with some strong first half play, although Glenelgs pitching could be a key in the finals?
Division 2:
Usual suspects with Glenelg and West Torrens leading the way, big surprise packet in ET and Port leading for the majority. West Torrens might have the edge, leading the league in runs scored by a fair amount
Division 3:
Probably a two horse race, with Goodwood and West Torrens remaining strong. Coin flip really, maybe the edge goes to Goodwood
Division 4:
Grangers on top, with Norths and Glenelg closely following. Prior to last year Grange were the ones to beat, but Glenelg managed to take it out last year so maybe mental edge? Pretty close, ill give the edge to Glenelg with Henley a very close second
Division 5:
The next league to go in the 'ban on tin' Flinders look to have the bats but maybe not the pitching of Golden Grove which is big come finals time. Edge goes to Golden Grove who knocked off Flinders in their matchup so far
Division 6:
Glenelg on top in this leage, again?! With usual teams East/West Torrens just behind. Pretty much a tie between those three teams, coin flip as to who manages to hit more homers come finals.
Division 7:
Very limited info on this leage, Norths and Kensies are leading the way and dont look like they will be challenged. Slight edge to Norths, scoring a few more runs and giving up the same amount as Kensies
