Does anyone know the name of the american in the red and white shirt and cargo pants who was abusing the rams pitchers from the fence behind the dugout on fri night, please pm me his name and club.Security should not have let him get so close(physically) to the players he was abusing. Not a good situation at all..The ABF will be notified of his actions, i hope Baseball SA take the required action to prevent this from happening again..

ok I agree this is not good and I wasn't at the Friday night game personally.
However, on behalf of all the SABL clubs I did some quick research on this matter and I wish to report that the wanker in question is not a member of any SABL club.
I would also like to report that Queensland did alert the powers that be about this wanker after the Friday night game and Security were ready to take action if he returned on the Saturday. Alas, he didn't come to the Saturday fixtures.
Hopefully we can nip this in the bud and move on.....since this wanker is not affiliated with the SABL in any way.
GM Pat Kelly has done a fantastic job thus far - especially in the area of player recruitment - the most important area of all.
We have had a 3-0 start and we are all optimistic down here in Adelaide at the moment. We can't wait for the next home series. Norwood Oval is the best location for baseball bar none.
Maybe Queensland under estimated us a bit too as evidenced by Manager Dave Nilsson sending out a rookie for one plate meeting and a relief pitcher for another plate meeting. Maybe this is the way you "roll" up in Queensland but not the way we do it in SA. The manager always attends the Plate Meeting. We would say that we have been "big leagued" but Queenslander's might say this is a non issue. No big deal let's move on. Let's put it down to cultural differences.
Anyway, you asked for this wankers name and club and I don't know his name and there is no club.
Maybe someone else might know more than me - especially since I wasn't at the game. I just wanted to clear the name and reputation of all the SABL clubs.

Thank you Billybaroo for your swift action in investigating this matter. It was a shame this individual acted the way he did, the night was very special for me playing in front of such a large and enthusiastic crowd and i was surprised that someone didn't tell him to cool it. I am glad he is not a local club ball player because as texasleaguer mentioned i might have jumped on plane and paid him a visit, had my father or brother been in attendance he would be eating through a straw now..Looking forward to the rematch in just under 2 weeks....17

no worries mate, its good you didnt react like Eric Cantona did about 10 years ago against Crystal Palace. Good luck for the rest of the campaign mate and sorry your experience in Adelaide was tainted by this wanker.
