The fixtures guide has been released and it is official. There are 26 rounds this season. ... www.sa.baseball.com.au/cm/Fixture.asp?CID=1601However, since henley & Grange have been promoted to the top flight we now have a bye and play every team twice instead of 3 times each - 24 games plus 2 byes = 26 rounds. 9 less games than last season. An interesting by-product are the "Saturday Sunday double header johnnies" We play 6 of these during the season. The magoo's fixtures are exactly the same as Division 1, ie 24 games - magoo's play before the A's. SANFL style. Thus, for the 6 "SS DH Johnnies" clubs will need 4 starting pitchers plus a decent pen. Pitching depth is the key. If a club doesn't have pitching depth they will be in strife this season. Another change is the magoo's will play finals at the same time as Division 1. This will test the logistics skills of clubs whose A's & B's are both partaking. Well there you have it. peace out
