It came down to the wire on Saturday, with Geelong Baycats 1sts taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the late innings that sealed their victory over Sunshine Eagles Baseball First Division 1s.
The game was tied at five with Geelong Baycats 1sts batting in the bottom of the ninth when Lewis Weldon singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Geelong Baycats 1sts tied things up at five when Keli’i Zablan hit a solo homer.
