The opening game vs Korea is an absolute must win for both teams.
With only 3 teams in the group (Korea, Cuba & Canada) that means that only top 2 will progress to the next round.

After 4 inns we are down 0-3.

We were totally dominated by their pitching. I hit, that says it all. 7 pitchers used. Full wrap : premier12.wbsc.org/en/2019/news/korea-shuts-out-australiaOne thing that concerned me was this statement of Dave Nilsson after the game ""Korea's starter was simply too good. His control was a plus. Once they scored two runs, I knew we were done." Korea scored those 2 runs in THE 2ND inns. He admitted at that point he knew they were done. Concerned that after just 2 inns he had this defeatist attitude which has to effect his judgement and decisions for the rest of the game. Not a good sign for the upcoming games.
