On a whim, a cuppla weeks ago, I went to a game down at St. Kilda. Although having driven past a few thousand times I'd never been there during game time. Critique.......Great viewing and shade, great cold mexican beers, great vibes and fantastic tacos/mex food. Yeah...It's more expensive than a hot dog (they're still available). Yeah it's more expensive than a hot pie but it's fresh, it's good' it's different and proceeds go to the club thanks to the volunteers. Highly recommended. Melbourne Aces...take note, this is how it's done.

Thanks for the comments Perfeckt... was a pleasure having you down. Hope to see you again soon. It was another great day yesterday with us hosting Fitzroy, although they did take both games and won the slab of Dos Equis in the raffle Next time we will be running these is Dec 22 versus Berwick... Puma you're up, so round up the troops... I will make extra just for you

On Saturday, 8 December 2012 St Kilda firsts and seconds played the respective Fitzroy teams at their home ground. A number of members and supporters of Fitzroy Baseball Club were in attendance on this hot, blustery, and towards the end of the firsts game a somewhat coolish afternoon. However, all commented on the wonderful hospitality that was afford to all at the game. Our members/supporters in particular commented on the welcoming service and hospitality of the staff that managed the canteen - not only were the drinks cold and ice was available but the food was a pleasant change from the normal canteen fare - and thoroughly appreciated the special attention afforded to the children who were at the game. It was a most enjoyable day and rewarding day.
