wwos.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8496817A massive thunder clap has sent major league baseball players scrambling for their lives during a game between Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins in Arlington, Texas. Players from both teams ran from the diamond during the fourth innings as a lightening strike hit just north of the stadium. Minnesota base runner Josh Willingham went down on all fours, while first-base coach Jerry White hid behind the umpire. "I thought I was a spirit; I thought I was dead," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. Texas centre fielder Denard Span later tweeted, "That's the loudest noise I've ever heard. I thought Jesus was comin!" The game resumed after a safety delay, with Texas eventually winning 4-3 in 13 innings **Seems even lightning is a problem for the Majors**
