Hi all, the State Winter Champs for seniors are not far away. Just heard from Stuart Medland that the DV senior side is struggling for numbers, and the City League team has their first training session this Thursday night (May 31st) at Melb Uni batting cages at 6.30pm. The Diamond Valley team has been well represented for many years so if anyone from the DV clubs wants to continue this tradition, please let Stu know you are available - his details are on the MWBL website on the State Champs page. There is a training session for the DV guys this coming Sunday at Watsonia BC at 10.30am, so no matter what age or ability, get on down and be a representative of the Diamond Valley and City League teams for the senior champs in Geelong on the Queens Birthday weekend.

Hi guys, yes Ringwood have a team and will be very competitive judging by the roster I have seen. Great work on behalf of all involved with the City League team, a full roster also. But unfortunately the rumours are true, as of yesterday the DV team pulled out. With only 7 players and a coach there was no team for this year. It is a shame for Stu Medland who has been a constant with this team, and has worked hard to keep the DV team going. Hopefully the DV guys will commit for 2013 and we will get a good squad up for this series.
